While we were rained out from the esplanade for report-ins on Friday at least we had a dry bush hut to come back to (in the library!) Friends going bush in the South Island tomorrow may have better weather than earlier this summer especially around Nelson. - At least its not like Queensland in Australia where flooded streets have become rivers and may have crocs or snakes floating down them!! ...I;ll keep to the Moreporks and Dragonflies of the bush in Palmy

Esplanade Day report-ins now in the Central Library

Summer Reading Programme report-ins are in the Central Library this morning.  We can't do it in The Esplanade today due to the rain - sorry about that guys.

It's Christmas Eve Eve!!

Isn't it getting exciting! Have you seen any good Christmas movies or read any good Christmas books lately? I just watched the new animated Christmas Carol with Jim Carey. It's really well done. Hope everyone has a fantastic Christmas and I look forward to meeting more of you amazing kids in the new year :)

Esplanade Fun Before the Rain Came Down!

Yes, we did it in style down at the Esplanade yesterday. We anticipated rain but didn't get it until we had completed 43 report-ins! We did however catch some drops when packing up :) lol. I always love doing report-ins at the Esplanade, so if you missed this one...catch us down there on the 7th January where we will be there all day (9am-12noon & 1pm-4pm).
