This is the best programme the City Library does.

Hi all, I just want to say welcome to the Summer Reading Programme 2010-2011. I have been involved with many programmes and they have always been great fun. I have met so many families through Summer Reading and have always been amazed at how well received it is by our community.

The ballot system worked well overall, and I am sure that no-one has missed the tension and heat of the registration days that we have had in the past, we sure didn't.

I am sure that you will find the team this year always available and willing to do all they can to make this a great experience for you all. Remember, if you have any observations or comments, just find me.

Sorry for the library closure yesterday, Wednesday afternoon. A burst water pipe meant we had no water and it is that health and safety thing that we all have to abide by these days. I hope that not too many of you were inconvenienced, but sorry again.

So good luck to you all, have lots of fun, and remember, we are here to help you all.
